Just thought I would offer a different opinion. My dd had an original Molly and an original Kirsten and never bonded with them. I wasn't too fond of them either though I really tried to be as I loved all of their clothes and accessories. When my daughter decided to downsize, they were the first two dolls to go. Years later, I saw pics of the new Kirsten and Molly and lost my heart. I am not generally a fan of how things have changed since Mattel took over, but some things are great. I love the limited edition dolls and I adore my new Kirsten and Molly. Their faces seem younger and sweeter to me and they definitely have more color.
